Quarter Window Track Bushing Kit.
For
Celica
coupe 71 to 77. This
kit will fix the common problem of the coupe quarter window glass
coming out of track and falling forward when you try to roll it down!
The
problem
is the front track quarter window bushings get hard and
crack apart with age.
These are exclusively specially made in New Zealand for Toyhead Auto. They are made from upgrade polyurethane and will last forever. They are the only solution for this problem. Two needed per quarter window. New lower price! hurry, limited quantity in stock. $30.63 pair (2)
Installation Tips: The glass and regulator should be removed.
The one 10mm bolt can be a pain cause it is on the other side (facing the out side of the car) and you have to get your hand behind the regulator and glass to get to it.
I find a ratchet type box end wrench makes it a little easier to get to and do the job.
Once you get the regulator out its a good idea for you to squeeze your hands in there to put some white grease on to the roller tracks.
When you install the new roller bushings and you think they are a bit loose on the shaft due to the shaft being worn from the old hard bushings.
The solution is to wrap the shaft with a few rounds of Teflon tape to take up some of the gap and that will do the trick.
